We believe that God created all men equally. Any form of discrimination must be avoided, for “we are all one in Christ.” There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. (Gal. 3: 28)
As Christians, we were taught of submitting ourselves to every ordinance of man, and we do it “for the Lord’s sake.” This means we must follow all the laws of the constitution of our country and as such, all the doctrines of the church are not in contradiction of any laws of the land.
1Pe 2:13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
1Pe 2:14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
But in case, the law of the land will contradict our faith, we shall follow first what is due to God rather than men. Act 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
Any form of resistance is not permitted in the church of God. Members are strongly advised not to join any movements that will contradict this belief. Apostle Paul advised the members of the church to live peacefully and according to the will of God.
Rom 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
Rom 13:2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
Rom 13:3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
