Judgment Day

We believe that God is love, full of mercy and forgiving. He is slow to anger and have shown His everlasting love ever since the creation. But, we also believe that God is a God of Justice, that is, He gives what is due for everything we do.

We have been given the “free will” to choose anything we want in this life, but we have been warned also of the consequences of the choices we will make.  Such consequences, can lead us to the everlasting life or the everlasting punishment.

We believe that “to every purpose there is time and judgment” (Ec. 8: 6) But the sentence or judgment to every man is not done right away. Ecc 8:11  Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

God is so loving that He wanted us to repent and have chances for forgiveness. But if we do not repent, the consequence will be fatal, for He had set a day of Judgment for mankind.

Act 17:31  Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

We will be judged according to what we have done, be it good or bad, be it hidden or not.

Ecc 12:13  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Ecc 12:14  For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
