Don’t tell God We Have a Big Problem

When we encounter problems, the immediate action of a Christian is to call God for help. This is a protocol for all of us because we trust God so much. Problems are there to test us, to measure our faith and make us stronger.

We never hate problems. We never fear them. We don’t hide from them, because we know that God will never abandon us. Amidst all troubles, trials and tests, Christians stand on their faith and they can pass anything because of God’s help.

Heb 13:5  … I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

When we are in the middle of the crisis, we often loose faith.

They rattle, confused and don’t know what to do.

Sometimes, they call on for God’s help but the method of communication is not according to His will , and God won’t listen to them.

So what do we do in times of troubles?

First, we need to be calm. There is nothing that a rattled mind can do. The Jeepney signs on the streets says, “In God we trust,” and we often see it but sometimes we ignore that sign. If we really put our trust in God, then we show how big is our faith, much bigger than our problems.

Next, we call on for God’s help and guidance. The line for God is always open. No busy line, no long queue. Pray for spiritual wisdom to judge according to what is right and just in the Lord’s eyes. Don’t ask for what we don’t deserve, we will not receive it anyway.

Just always remember, God will always find a way for us, especially when there seems to be no way.

We can conquer anything. God wants us to be triumphant in every way.

Don’t tell God we have a big problem, tell our problems that we have a big God.

Remember the story of the little David, a small shepherd boy who used to bring food for his brothers at war?

He was not intimidated by what the giant Philistine named Goliath says. All what David knows is that this uncircumcised Philistine is making fool of the army of the One true God. And He did not allow it. As a little boy, he showed His strength of faith and trust to the Lord God, and the result is history. He conquered Goliath.

Each of us has its own Goliath to conquer.

It may differ in many things, but they are all the same, these things want to put us down and stumble.

“We would not allow it to happen to us, would we?”

Trust in the Lord with all our heart, lean not on our own understanding. He will surely direct us and lead us to the correct path.
